Fulton County to Purchase Atlanta City Detention Center

The City of Atlanta has accepted Fulton County's offer to purchase the Atlanta City Detention Center.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens sent a letter Tuesday to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, letting them know the city would accept its proposal made in a Sept. 2 letter to purchase ACDC for $68 million.
The mayor also mentioned that the structure protects city employees and will maintain diversion center operations.
