Dunwoody Dialogues Adds "Built for Business," a Series Built for Businesses Everywhere

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, September 30th, 2026

Discover Dunwoody is adding a business-focused series to Dunwoody Dialogues, its live interview program. The series, called Built for Business, premieres Wednesday, September 16 at noon and will stream live on LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook. It is aimed at companies large and small that operate in Dunwoody and the Perimeter District, those considering a move here, and any business owner who could use a hand with some part of running the business.

Joining the kickoff conversation is Billy Kramer, owner and operator of NFA Burger. His Dunwoody burger spot has been named the best burger in Georgia by both Food & Wine and Reader's Digest, one of America's top 20 burgers in 2026 by TimeOut, Judges' Choice winner of the 2026 South Beach Wine and Food Festival Burger Bash, and Atlanta's best burger by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2020 and 2022. Kramer is a sharp operator and a natural storyteller, and he and Galvin have known each other for years, so expect a conversation that is candid, funny and useful in equal measure. He will dig into the real challenges of running a business, including the ones nobody warns you about.

The idea is simple. Business owners and managers tend to run into the same questions: how to hire and keep good people, who to call at the city for a permit, what to do about AI, where to find financing, how to get noticed. Built for Business will bring in local people who deal with those questions every day and let them explain what they know.

"As a recovering entrepreneur, I remember how hard it was to find straight answers to the everyday questions of running a business. When I talk with business owners around the Perimeter, I hear the same issues come up again and again. I wanted a way to point them to the right resources, and where we can, to the answers themselves," said Mark Galvin, host of Dunwoody Dialogues and Chief Marketing & Operating Officer at Discover Dunwoody. "We've picked ten topic areas and we'll bring in local experts on each one, so business people here and beyond have a place to look."

Episodes will be grouped into ten categories so a viewer can find what they need without watching everything:

1.  Workforce and Talent

2.  Doing Business with Dunwoody

3.  Getting Around the Perimeter

4.  Money and Growth

5.  AI and Technology for Everyday Business

6.  Marketing and Visibility

7.  Meetings, Events and Hospitality Partnerships

8.  Real Estate and Office Space

9.  Legal, Risk and Compliance

10.  Community and Corporate Citizenship

The series will also spend time on the Perimeter itself. The area has led metro Atlanta in office leasing for several years running and is home to the headquarters of UPS, AT&T Mobility, Cox Enterprises, Haverty's and Newell Rubbermaid. Guests will talk about what that concentration of companies means for a smaller business nearby, from the talent pool to the vendors and customers within a few miles.

Discover Dunwoody, which promotes the city's restaurants, shops, entertainment and hotels, plans to use the series to point businesses toward resources they may not know about, including programs run by the City of Dunwoody, the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts and the Greater Perimeter Chamber.

The show is produced and directed by Madison Holtz, Discover Dunwoody's Brand & Multimedia Manager, who has produced more than 120 episodes of Dunwoody Dialogues.

"Running a business is hard anywhere," Holtz said. "Discover Dunwoody works hand in hand with restaurateurs and other business owners to help them succeed. We know that where you set up shop matters, and so does knowing who is around to help. That second part is what this series is for."

Episodes will stream live and remain available afterward on Discover Dunwoody's LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook pages, with a short written recap of each conversation. Businesses interested in being a guest or suggesting a topic can reach Discover Dunwoody at [email protected].
