September 2026 The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Chapman as Chair of its Board of Directors. A dedicated community leader and longtime advocate for vision care, Chapman will help guide the organization's strategic efforts to expand access to critical eye care services and support programs for Georgians in need.

For more than 75 years, the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation has served communities across the state by providing vision screenings, eye examinations, eyeglasses, eye surgery, and essential vision care resources to underserved individuals and families. Under Chapman's leadership, the organization will continue advancing its mission of preserving and restoring sight while improving the quality of life for children, adults, and seniors throughout Georgia.

"I am honored to serve as Board Chair of the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and look forward to working alongside our dedicated board members, staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure that every Georgian has access to the vision care they need," said Chapman.

Residing in Woodstock Ga, Atlanta native and graduate of Georgia State University, Chapman brings more than 43 years of executive leadership experience in the consumer goods industry and a lifelong commitment to community service. He has dedicated more than 15 years to serving with Lions Clubs in Georgia and Lions Clubs International and currently remains an active member of the Canton Lions Club. Beyond his service with Lions, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners appointed Chapman to serve as a director on the county's Board of Ethics. He is also an accomplished musician who performs with two orchestras and is a member of Antioch Christian Church.

As Board Chair, Chapman will oversee the Foundation's governance, support strategic priorities, and help advance fundraising and partnership opportunities that further the organization's mission.
