Government affairs consultant Bianca Thrasher- Starobin has joined the Atlantic Council Members Society, becoming a member of the global organization’s community of leaders engaged in advancing constructive dialogue and addressing issues shaping the transatlantic relationship.
Thrasher-Starobin brings experience in government affairs, public policy, and strategic relationship-building to the Atlantic Council Members Society. Through her work, she advises and connects stakeholders navigating complex policy and government environments.
“I am honored to join the Atlantic Council Members Society and to become part of a community committed to thoughtful engagement on the issues shaping our world,” said Thrasher-Starobin. “I look forward to learning from and contributing to conversations that bring together leaders across government, business, policy, and international affairs.”
The Atlantic Council is a nonpartisan organization that promotes constructive leadership and engagement on international affairs. Its Members Society brings together individuals who support the Council’s mission and participate in its community of leaders and experts.
For Thrasher-Starobin, the membership represents an opportunity to expand her engagement with national and international policy conversations while bringing her perspective as a government affairs professional to a broader network.
“I believe effective government affairs work requires understanding not only what is happening in Washington and in state capitals like our own here in Atlanta, but also the larger geopolitical and economic forces influencing policy,” Thrasher-Starobin added. “The Atlantic Council provides an extraordinary platform for that kind of engagement.”
The timing of Thrasher-Starobin’s membership also coincides with her upcoming attendance at the Atlantic Council’s Global Citizen Awards in New York on September 23. The event brings together leaders from government, business, diplomacy, and international affairs, providing an opportunity for Thrasher-Starobin to engage with a distinguished network of global leaders and gain perspective on issues shaping the international landscape. She will also be in New York for events and discussions taking place around the United Nations.
