The iTHINK Community Foundation helped 520 children across Metro Atlanta prepare for the new school year through its annual School Ready Days initiative and partnerships with local community organizations.

Throughout July and August, iTHINK Financial team members and community partners distributed backpacks filled with essential school supplies at events throughout the Metro Atlanta area, including Cobb Head Start & Pre-K in Marietta; Premier Academy in Forest Park; Russell Elementary in Smyrna; South Cobb ELC in Mableton; Hill City Elementary in Jasper; Paulding County Schools; and Thriving Christian Church. Together, the events helped local children begin the new school year prepared, supported, and ready to learn.

“Starting a new school year with the right supplies and clothing can make a tremendous difference in a child’s confidence and ability to succeed,” said Stephen Johnson, AVP of Administration and Marketing at iTHINK Financial. “Every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling prepared, supported, and excited to learn. We are deeply grateful to our members, sponsors, and employees whose generosity makes this initiative possible.”

The Metro Atlanta distributions were part of a broader series of School Ready Days held across Florida and Georgia. Through the annual initiative, the iTHINK Community Foundation provided back-to-school support to more than 1,500 children in need.

School Ready Days advances the iTHINK Community Foundation’s mission to improve the lives of children and families in the communities served by iTHINK Financial. The Foundation set a $10,000 fundraising goal to help cover the cost of backpacks, school supplies and other back-to-school essentials.

iTHINK Financial is dedicated to investing in the future of children. School Ready Days is one of several iTHINK Community Foundation programs supporting children and families throughout Florida and Georgia.
