Lenbrook, Atlanta’s premier intown community for engaged senior living for more than 40 years, has announced that CEO Chris Keysor will retire at the end of the year. As part of this transition, Lenbrook has promoted Chief Operating Officer Felecia Sveda to president and CEO, effective Oct. 19. Keysor will remain with Lenbrook through Dec. 31 in an outgoing CEO transition role.

“For 17 years, Chris has provided exceptional leadership and vision. He strengthened Lenbrook’s reputation as one of the nation’s premier senior living communities, guided significant campus expansions and new service offerings, and helped position the organization for long-term strength and sustainability. We are deeply grateful for his many contributions to Lenbrook and wish him all the best in retirement,” said Philip Searles, Chair, Lenbrook Board of Directors.

Sveda joined Lenbrook in 2006 and has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2022. Her newest appointment is the culmination of a deliberate, multi-year succession process focused on ensuring strong leadership continuity for Lenbrook’s future.

Felecia brings a deep understanding of Lenbrook, a talent for bringing people and priorities together and a commitment to building the strong organization we need to fulfill our vision of being the most desirable senior living community in the Southeast.”

Sveda will build on Lenbrook’s strong foundation, advance the organization’s mission and help ensure Lenbrook remains an exceptional place to live and work for years to come.

She serves on the board of LeadingAge Georgia and leads several strategic initiatives for Novare, a consortium of forward-thinking Life Plan Communities that collaborate, innovate and enhance the world of senior living by sharing best practices. She is an alumna of Leadership Buckhead and Leadership Cobb and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University.
