Major Georgia 400 Exit Shutting Down for Up to 2 Years

Exit 5 on southbound Georgia 400 in Sandy Springs is now closed with two temporary exits open in its place.

The Georgia Department of Transportation shut down the existing Exit 5 on Saturday morning and Monday marks the first weekday commute since then. There is now one temporary ramp to the North Springs MARTA station and another to Abernathy Road and Hammond Drive.

The two temporary exits will be labeled Exit 5-B and 5-A.
