Meals on Wheels Atlanta Swings into 26th Annual Golf Classic at Atlanta Country Club

Following a record-setting 25th anniversary tournament that raised $130,000 and funded more than 18,000 home-delivered meals for Atlanta seniors, Meals On Wheels Atlanta is teeing up another day of impact with its 26th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 19, at Atlanta Country Club. Presented by Georgia Power, the annual tournament brings together golfers, sponsors, and community leaders in support of Meals On Wheels Atlanta’s mission to fight senior hunger and isolation.
The all-inclusive charity tournament invites golfers, sponsors, and community leaders to help fight senior hunger while enjoying one of Georgia's premier championship golf courses. The day includes breakfast, an open bar, premium player gifts and prizes, a hole-in-one SUV contest, on-course competitions and a 19th Hole Awards Reception immediately following tournament play.
New this year, the tournament heads to Atlanta Country Club, a Golf Digest Best in State course with a rich PGA TOUR legacy. Known as the site of the inaugural Tournament Players Championship and longtime home of the Atlanta Classic, the course provides an exceptional setting for one of Meals On Wheels Atlanta's signature annual fundraisers.
Most importantly, every dollar raised helps Meals On Wheels Atlanta deliver nutritious meals, wellness checks, and other essential services that allow seniors and their beloved pets to remain safe, healthy, and together at home.

With Georgia Power serving as presenting sponsor, the 26th Annual Golf Classic continues a longstanding tradition of bringing Atlanta’s business and philanthropic communities together to support local seniors. Golfers may register individually or as foursomes, with additional sponsorship opportunities available on a limited basis.
