Artlanta Festival of Culture Lands in Historic Fourth Ward Park

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Monday, October 19th, 2026

Atlanta has always had its own ideas about music, style, art and culture. This fall, those ideas take center stage as Artlanta Festival of Culture lands at Historic Fourth Ward Park from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2026, for three days celebrating the city's unmistakable creative identity.

The flagship event of the I'M SO ATL™ Citywide Public Art Campaign, Artlanta brings together Atlanta's visual artists, DJs, musicians, collectors and culture makers for an immersive weekend of music and art. From murals and installations to vinyl, 45s, curated DJ sets and full-album listening experiences, the free festival is designed around the creative language of the city. This isn't an Atlanta-themed festival. It's an Atlanta festival.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday, Oct. 30, launches with DJ Kizzy Rock Presents: The Return of the Old Atlanta Experience, the fifth installment of the acclaimed celebration of Atlanta's influential '90s music culture. The evening revisits the records, dances and sounds that shaped the city – moving beyond familiar hits to the deep cuts and songs that defined the people who were actually there.

Saturday, Oct. 31, presents I'M SO ATL: The Soundtrack - ATLiens 30 Years Later, commemorating the 30th anniversary of OutKast's landmark, 2x Platinum sophomore album. The complete ATLiens album will be presented unedited and uninterrupted beneath the Atlanta night sky, accompanied by light and projection works created by Atlanta artists. The evening culminates in an Atlanta-inspired Halloween costume celebration, with the ATLiens Costume Party Lounge powered by Cutwater Spirits & Streetz 94.5 offering covered space, lounge seating, refreshments, full bar access, giveaways and open-air viewing.

The festival concludes on Sunday, Nov. 1, with MOVEMENT, a vinyl-driven celebration of the music of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Presented through the warmth and texture of analog recordings, the experience invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply and, most importantly, dance. A Michael Jackson Costume Party Lounge will complement the evening, drawing inspiration from the artist's Motown, Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad and Dangerous eras.

Shake a tail feather all weekend long in the Cutwater® Costume Party Lounge, a ticketed experience within the free festival. Costumes are welcome but never required to enjoy the complimentary Cutwater® refreshments.

The festival is free. For the Cutwater® Costume Party Lounge, tickets are $45 on Saturday and $35 on Sunday. Tickets available at ImSoATL.ORG.

Throughout the weekend, the park itself becomes part of the experience, with murals, installations, artistic builds and exhibitions from Atlanta artists representing the breadth of the city's creative community. Visitors are invited to explore, discover new artists, hear unexpected records and experience Atlanta culture beyond the obvious. Artlanta Festival of Culture takes place Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2026, at Historic Fourth Ward Park (main entrance at 665 North Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308). For more information, visit ImSoATL.ORG.
