Raymond James financial advisor Mike Skrynecki has been named as the recipient of the 2026 Invest in Others Lifetime Achievement Award, one of accolades presented at the 20th Anniversary Invest in Others Awards Gala on September 17, 2026, at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.

Skrynecki earned this award for his leadership as the founder and chairman of the Wiskott-Aldrich Foundation, an organization that supports patients and families affected by Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome. The nonprofit received a $100,000 grant from the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, which will go toward building a global patient registry.

The Invest in Others Awards honor financial advisors who go above and beyond to support nonprofit organizations through volunteerism, leadership and service, creating a meaningful impact in the communities where they live and work.

“Receiving the Invest in Others Lifetime Achievement Award is an incredible honor, but this recognition is really a reflection of the extraordinary families, volunteers, physicians, researchers and advocates who have been part of this journey,” said Skrynecki. “What began 25 years ago as an effort to help the child of a close family friend diagnosed with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome has grown into a global community united by a shared purpose: ensuring that no family faces this devastating disease alone.”

Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome is a rare, life-threatening immune disorder that affects young boys and often leaves families searching for answers, support and hope. Through the Wiskott-Aldrich Foundation, families are connected with resources, build a worldwide support network, fund critical research and advocate for better treatments and standards of care.

“As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Invest in Others Awards, we’re reminded of just how powerful the charitable commitment of financial advisors can be,” said Barkley Payne, president and CEO of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation. “This year’s honorees carry forward a legacy built over two decades by advisors who have given their time, leadership and resources to strengthen nonprofits and communities across the country. We are proud to celebrate their extraordinary service and the lasting impact they continue to make.”

“Mike’s commitment to serving others extends far beyond his work as a financial advisor,” said Tom Walrond, president of Raymond James & Associates. “This well-deserved recognition reflects decades of leadership, compassion and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of families affected by Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome.”

“Mike exemplifies the very best of our profession,” said Tash Elwyn, president of Raymond James Private Client Group. “Through his leadership of the Wiskott-Aldrich Foundation and his deep commitment to giving back, he has made a lasting difference in the lives of countless families and communities around the world.”
