The Cobb Chamber is proud to announce that it has received the 2026 Champion Award from the Georgia Democracy Resilience Network (GA DRN).

The Cobb Chamber was recently recognized at GA DRN’s 2026 Georgia Civic Excellence Awards Dinner at The Carter Center in Atlanta. The annual awards honor Georgia leaders whose work demonstrates exemplary community leadership, strengthens communities, encourages respectful dialogue, and promotes the norms of a healthy democratic society.

“Through our Conversations in Democracy series, we’ve brought together leaders from across the political spectrum to model respectful, honest dialogue for our community,” said Sharon Mason, President and CEO of the Cobb Chamber. “We’re grateful to the Georgia Democracy Resilience Network for recognizing our work and remain committed to helping Cobb lead by example.”

The Georgia Democracy Resilience Networkis a cross-partisan initiative supported by The Carter Center. The network brings together civic, business, faith, and community leaders from across Georgia’s political spectrum to promote peaceful civic engagement, trusted elections, and confidence in democratic institutions.
