Tuesday, October 13th, 2026
The Emory University Board of Trustees has elected Josh Resnick, founder and managing partner of Jericho Capital, as its newest member.
The Board of Trustees oversees the governance and long-term well-being of the institution by establishing policy and exercising fiduciary responsibility. Trustees serve a six-year initial term; four-year renewable terms may follow.
Resnick founded Jericho Capital in 2009. The investment management firm focuses on the global technology, media and telecommunications sectors and oversees more than $7 billion in assets.
Before founding Jericho Capital, Resnick was a key principal at TCS Capital, a global technology, media and telecommunications hedge fund manager that he joined shortly after its launch in 2001. Previously, he was a managing director at KPE Ventures, a New York-based venture capital fund focused on media, entertainment and technology.
Resnick also worked in the business development group at Fox Entertainment Group in Los Angeles and began his career as an analyst in the media and entertainment investment banking group at Bear Stearns.
Resnick graduated summa cum laude from Emory University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He remains actively engaged with Emory through his philanthropic support of scholarships, experiential learning, campus life and faculty excellence, as well as through his family's ongoing connection to the university.
He also serves on the board of trustees of Westmark School in Encino, California, and on the boards of directors of the California Business Roundtable and the Child Mind Institute.
