As the real estate industry undergoes significant change, Engel & Völkers Atlanta is reinforcing the foundation on which its Advisors build their futures: local ownership, consistent leadership, and a long-term investment in their success. The promotion of Kristen Skebe, Managing Broker of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, to Chief People Officer recognizes her established impact on Advisor growth and affirms the brokerage’s commitment to supporting enduring businesses in the Atlanta market.

Advisors need confidence in the company supporting them as they set annual goals, invest in marketing, and build lasting client relationships. Engel & Völkers Atlanta’s investment in established local leadership provides continuity for Advisors planning the next stage of their businesses.

Skebe’s contributions make that commitment tangible. She recently helped spearhead an accelerated business planning course to help Advisors build momentum heading into 2027.

According to brokerage figures, the program’s 14 participating Advisors added 733 contacts to their CRM databases and recorded $27.8 million in new business, reflecting her focus on practical guidance that supports sustained growth.

“Our Advisors are building businesses for the long term, and they deserve to know that their leadership is doing the same,” said Chris Burell, Chief Growth Officer of Engel & Völkers Atlanta. “Atlanta is where we have built our careers and this company, and it is where we intend to keep building. Kristen has consistently exceeded expectations in helping our Advisors grow. This promotion recognizes that work and reinforces our commitment to the longevity of this brokerage and the people building their futures here.”

Skebe previously worked as an Advisor and led a successful real estate team, experience that informs her approach to coaching and business development. She will continue as Managing Broker of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, where she has built deep relationships and a lasting commitment to the market. Her Chief People Officer title recognizes work already central to her leadership: strengthening the support, development, and sense of connection that help Advisors build sustainable businesses.

According to company figures, Skebe has also helped attract 43 Advisors representing more than $307.85 million in annual sales volume, contributing to the brokerage’s growth.

“Kristen’s leadership continues to shape our growth and the success of our Advisors exponentially,” said Christa Huffstickler, Founder and CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta. “She is a voice our industry should know. This promotion recognizes the influence she has already had on the company we are building together.”

Her commitment extends beyond the brokerage. Skebe serves as the Atlanta REALTORS® Association’s 2026 YPN Planning Committee Chair and graduated from its Emerging Leaders Class of 2024. She is also scheduled to be installed in December as a Vice President of the association for 2027.

“I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and the confidence our leadership team has placed in me,” said Skebe. “What matters to me is the lasting impact we can have on our Advisors’ careers. When people have clear direction, consistent support, and a brand that is invested in their future, they can build businesses that grow stronger over time. That is the work I’m proud to be part of here, alongside people who care deeply about one another and the communities we serve.”
