Toro Development Company (Toro) today announced plans for the Grand Opening of Medley, the $560 million, 43-acre mixed-use destination in Johns Creek. The three-day celebration runs from Oct. 28-30 and includes a dynamic lineup of events, nearly 30 retail and restaurant openings and special surprises designed to introduce the Johns Creek community to its new Third Place. The celebrations mark the first chapter of Medley's debut, with additional tenant openings following soon after.
“From day one, we designed Medley for the people of Johns Creek,” said Mark Toro, founder and chief vision officer for Toro Development Company. “Medley is your front porch, your gathering space and your Third Place. We've spent years imagining the moment when our community would fill The Boulevard, The Tree Bar and The Plaza for the first time, and we couldn't think of a better way to debut Medley than with three days of celebrations.”
Medley’s Grand Opening celebration includes:
-
Medley Unveiled: The festivities begin Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 10 p.m. with an exclusive ticketed preview night benefiting the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. As the first to experience Medley before it opens to the public, guests can stroll the property sampling signature bites from Medley’s restaurants alongside specialty cocktails, beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages. The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra will activate the property with a string quartet, a DJ, a live violinist beneath the lights of the Tree Bar and dueling pianos. The event also includes interactive experiences, curated photo moments, complimentary valet parking and specialty swag. Tickets are available for purchase

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: On Thursday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m., Medley officially opens with a ceremonial ribbon cutting in The Plaza. Community leaders, neighbors and the Toro team will gather to mark the milestone, and the morning will include special surprise moments. This event is free and open to the public.
-
Party on The Plaza: The celebration’s grand finale is on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 10 p.m. and features a family-friendly Halloween-themed night with live music and activations for all ages. Costumes are encouraged. This event is free and open to the public.
Grand Opening marks the beginning of Medley’s robust community programming, which includes approximately 100 events each year. On Nov. 23, The Plaza will transform into a Rockefeller Center-inspired outdoor ice rink for the holiday season. On Nov. 27, Merry Medley will kick off the happiest time of the year with a holiday concert, curated performances, a fireworks show and more. In 2027, Medley will host a slate of seasonal and feature events, recurring on a weekly or monthly basis.
“The magic of Medley's Grand Opening doesn't end on Oct. 30,” said Carla Cox, vice president of marketing for Toro Development Company. “Every tenant opening and event adds another exciting layer to the Medley experience and gives the Johns Creek community a reason to come back and discover something new.”
On Oct. 29, 28 of Medley’s best-in-class retailers and restaurants will welcome the community.
