Waterloo Capital, L.P. ("Waterloo"), an Austin-based registered investment adviser, today announced an investment in and partnership with Peachtree Financial Group, an Atlanta-based wealth advisory practice led by Stuart Canzeri and David Hughes. The partnership was effective September 1, 2026. Terms were not disclosed.

Stuart Canzeri and David Hughes join Waterloo Capital as investment adviser representatives

Mr. Canzeri and Mr. Hughes have joined Waterloo Capital as investment adviser representatives, and the practice will operate under the Waterloo Capital brand as Waterloo Capital Atlanta. Mr. Canzeri has been named Managing Partner of Waterloo Capital Atlanta. Mr. Canzeri will lead the firm's advisor recruitment efforts across the Atlanta market and the broader Southeast, while Mr. Hughes will continue to handle client relationships from the Buckhead office.

A central part of Mr. Canzeri's role will be adding new advisors to the Atlanta office. Waterloo intends to expand aggressively in the market, recruiting independent advisors and established practices that want institutional investment, tax, and operational support without giving up their client relationships. Those advisors gain access to Waterloo's 360 Critical Infrastructure™, Critical Infrastructure for Financial Advisors®, Waterloo's integrated platform of investment, tax, technology, compliance, family office services, marketing, and operational support. Waterloo has opened an Atlanta office at Buckhead Plaza, 3050 Peachtree Road NW, Suite 400, which will serve as the firm's Southeast hub. The office opens with five team members. Clients will gain access to Waterloo's investment platform, private markets capabilities, integrated tax services through Waterloo Capital Tax Partners, and family office services.

The Atlanta partnership follows Waterloo's September investment in Bay Rivers Group Wealth Partners of Williamsburg, Virginia, and extends a multi-brand platform that now spans more than a dozen advisory brands nationwide, including a growing roster of "Powered by Waterloo" practices. Atlanta is Waterloo's tenth office and its first in the Southeast, joining Waterloo Capital Tucson in Arizona as a geographically branded office of the firm.

"Stuart and David have built exactly the kind of practice we look for — deep client relationships, a disciplined planning process, and a clear view of where they want to take the business. Atlanta is one of the most dynamic wealth markets in the country, and Buckhead gives us the right footprint to grow from. Stuart leading recruitment there was the natural next step." said John Chatmas, Chief Executive Officer of Waterloo Capital.

"We spent a long time thinking about what our clients would need over the next twenty years, not just the next two. Coming under the Waterloo brand gives us institutional-caliber investment and tax capabilities without changing how we serve people. It also gives us something real to offer other advisors in this market who want to stay independent but are tired of building the back office themselves." said Stuart Canzeri, Managing Partner, Waterloo Capital Atlanta.

"This gives our team more capacity to do the work clients actually value — planning, coordination, and being available when it matters. The back-office and platform support behind us now is a meaningful upgrade." said David Hughes, Managing Partner, Waterloo Capital Atlanta.

"Atlanta is a priority market for us, and Stuart is the right person to build it out. We intend to grow aggressively there, and we expect to make additional announcements about the Atlanta office in the coming months." added Mr. Chatmas.
