144 golfers filled Bear’s Best Golf Club in Suwanee for the 26th Annual Gwinnett Chamber Fall Classic Golf Tournament. It was a day of friendly competition and business connections that went well beyond the scorecard. Clear skies and crisp fall air made for an ideal day on the course, but the real value came from the conversations taking place between the first tee and final putt.

The annual Fall Classic Golf Tournament has become one of the Chamber’s most popular networking events for good reason. Golf has a way of creating time for conversation. Executives, entrepreneurs and small business owners spent the day strengthening existing partnerships, making new introductions and finding opportunities to work together across Gwinnett and metro Atlanta.

Of course, a tournament still needs winners. This year’s third-place team was Bill Cornell, Rodney Dodd, Bill Johnsa, Wade Johnson, followed by Daniel Buchan, Barry Hartley, David Parayaoan, Darin Wilson in second place. Taking home first-place honors was Felix Gonzalez, Jim Hambre, Jackson Olsen, Jason Owens.

The Fall Classic was made possible through the generous support of ABC Estate and Legacy Planning; Andersen, Tate & Carr; Casteel Heating, Cooling Plumbing & Electrical; CDH Partners; Lawrenceville Coca-Cola UNITED; Corporate Storage; The Davis Companies; DICK’S Sporting Goods; E2E Benefits Services; Eagle Rock Georgia; Georgia Gwinnett College; Georgia Power, Georgia Urology; Margaritaville at Lanier Islands; Marlow’s Tavern; Maxair Mechanical; McKenney’s Inc.; Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure; Northside Hospital; Parker Young Restoration; PGA TOUR Superstore; Pinnacle Custom Signs; Precision Planning Inc.; Reeves + Young; Rose Paving; SEC Group; Thomas & Hutton; Tommy’s Express Carwash, Travis Pruitt & Associates; United Community Bank; Vox Pop Uli; and Walton Gas.
