Phipps Plaza Kicks Off Holiday Season Nov. 6-8

The most wonderful time of the year is almost here and Phipps Plaza is ready to celebrate. From Friday, Nov. 6, through Sunday, Nov. 8, the center will ring in the season with sparkling new decor, a movie night watching the holiday classic “The Santa Clause” on The Green, plus Santa’s Tavern, a festive pop-up bar with signature drinks. Saturday’s Luxe Edit shopping event offers rewards, and Sunday’s game-day watch party gives football fans a place to gather. Here is the weekend lineup:

Holiday Decor Unveiling and Media Preview — Friday, Nov. 6, noon-2 p.m.
- Phipps Plaza’s new holiday decor takes center stage, led by a walk-through tree about 35 feet tall in Monarch Court, where gift boxes double as video boards. A tree on the front facade and a lighting element on the monument sign add to the glow. Media are invited to preview the decor before the weekend begins.
- Movies on The Green: “The Santa Clause” — Friday, Nov. 6, 6 p.m.

Settle in under the stars for an outdoor screening of the holiday favorite “The Santa Clause” on The Green at Phipps Plaza, ideal for date nights or family outings. Refreshments are available from the Buckhead Bar, with food from Nobu, Alon’s, and the Food Hall at Phipps.

Santa’s Tavern Holiday Pop-Up Bar — November 6 – To the end of Holiday Season

Santa’s Tavern sets the mood with garland, glitter and trees, plus a menu of festive cocktails. Look for the Sleigh All Day, a vodka espresso martini with coffee liqueur and cinnamon, the Tinsel Tini with vodka, white cranberry juice and elderflower, and the Bad Santa, a bourbon, lemon, cinnamon and apple cider sipper. The Ho Ho Hot Chocolate comes spiked with Baileys, peppermint and whipped cream. Created in partnership with Buckhead Bar, the pop-up is located on Mall Level 1 Next to Saint Laurent. Hours for this weekend are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.
