Tucker Summit CID Names Matthew Lee as Sole Finalist for Executive Director

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Thursday, November 5th, 2026

The Tucker Summit Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Directors recently completed its search for a new Executive Director, naming Matthew Lee as the sole finalist on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026. The CID Board will vote on this appointment later in the month.

Lee has served as Executive Director of the Tucker-Northlake CID since 2017 and will continue in that role while assuming leadership responsibilities for the Tucker Summit CID.

“I'm honored by the trust the Tucker Summit CID Board has placed in me, and I’m grateful for the continued support of the Tucker-Northlake CID Board. Each CID has its own Board and set of specific priorities, but we share many of the same challenges and opportunities,” Lee said.  “Working more closely together creates new opportunities to better coordinate with the city, county, region and state on the projects that matter to the local community. I believe we can accomplish more together than apart.”

For Tucker Summit CID, this announcement comes as major infrastructure projects advance, including safety and transportation improvements along Mountain Industrial Boulevard and at the U.S. 78 interchange. Other priorities include lighting, beautification and public safety.

“The Tucker Summit CID has accomplished a great deal, and Matthew Lee is the right leader to build on the progress we’ve made,” said Tucker Summit CID Board Chairman Joey Chapman. “Matthew understands how to bring people together, establish partnerships and move projects forward. Our Board is focused on protecting the investments our property owners have made in this district, while continuing to improve the environment for business. We believe Matthew will help us take advantage of the opportunities ahead.”

The Tucker Summit CID and Tucker-Northlake CID will remain independent when Lee begins in the new role, with each governed by its own Board of Directors elected by the respective commercial property owners.

“Matthew understands the needs of our commercial property owners and the importance of building strong relationships with government at every level,” said Tucker-Northlake CID Board Chairman Brad Spratte. “The Tucker-Northlake CID Board is looking forward to greater collaboration between the two CIDs and the subsequent benefits for Tucker.”
