Business Delegation Visits Gwinnett-Based LifeArt Cabinetry HQ in China

A Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development-led delegation visited the headquarters of Chinese cabinet manufacturer, LifeArt Cabinetry in Fuzhou, China. The delegation is on a twelve-day business mission trip to explore trade and export opportunities, recruit direct foreign investment and build relationships in the region.
 
The visit to Fuzhou comes on the heels of LifeArt Cabinetry’s 2014 expansion in Gwinnett County.
 
“LifeArt Cabinetry is excited to be a part of the Gwinnett business community,” said Jason Chen, President, LifeArt Cabinetry. “We’ve already experienced significant business growth as a result of our U.S. expansion and we look forward to continued success. Thank you for welcoming us to the community.”
 
Company executives were given a proclamation from the County, presented by Gwinnett County Commissioner Jace Brooks.
 
“We have created an environment where businesses thrive and economic development stands strong,” said Gwinnett County Commissioner Jace Brooks. “I am thrilled that LifeArt Cabinetry has shown such a great commitment to our community and look forward to witnessing this company’s growth.”
 
LifeArt Cabinetry’s 95,920-square-foot Gwinnett showroom and distribution operations is located at 6700 Best Friend Rd., in Gwinnett County. Mayor Bucky Johnson of the City of Norcross, presented company executives with a key to the city.
 
“The City of Norcross is delighted to have LifeArt Cabinetry in the greater Norcross area,” said Mayor Bucky Johnson. “On behalf of the citizens of Norcross, we extend a sincere welcome and look forward to working with LifeArt to further enhance its success as a dynamic business and a leader in its industry.”
 
The Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development-led delegation met with government and city leaders from Fuzhou. Members of the delegation include: Jace Brooks (Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners), Bucky Johnson (Mayor, City of Norcross), Nick Masino (Sr. Vice President, Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development), and Andrew Carnes (Director of Economic Development, Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development).

LifeArt Cabinetry is located in the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District, Georgia’s largest public-private partnership funded by commercial property owners in the 14 square mile area spanning the I-85 corridor in southwest Gwinnett County.
