The faculty of Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business are among most productive researchers in the world, according to new rankings from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Robinson advanced eight spots to No. 27 for faculty research productivity at business schools worldwide, and rose six places to No. 24 for research productivity at North American business schools in the UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings. Over the past five years, no other top 50 school has risen faster in the ranking than Robinson.

Robinson is the highest ranked school in Georgia, and is the among the top three highest ranked schools in the southeastern United States, along with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University.

The University of Texas at Dallas’ ranking is based upon faculty research published in 24 peer-reviewed research journals across business disciplines. The index scoring system measures single and multiple authors and their university affiliations. This year’s rankings are based on articles published from 2012 to 2016.

“It’s gratifying, but not surprising, to see Robinson climb UTD’s Top 100 Business School Rankings,” said Richard Phillips, dean of the Robinson College. “Our faculty are among the world’s elite scholars who are furthering the theory and practice of business every day.”
