Chick-fil-A Rodney Bullard to Keynote DeKalb Chamber 80th Annual Meeting

Rodney Bullard, Vice President of Community Affairs at Chick-fil-A, Inc. and Executive Director of the Chick-fil-A Foundation, will serve as the keynote speaker for the DeKalb Chamber 80th Annual Meeting & Business Luncheon. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker Street NW, Atlanta.

Bullard will share ways to make an impact in the community and create a legacy of service, a message found in his upcoming book, Heroes Wanted: Why the World Needs You to Live Your Heart Out.

“For 80 years, our members, community partners and key stakeholders have supported the Chamber’s work to strengthen our businesses and advocate for a pro-business environment in DeKalb,” said Katerina Taylor, Chamber President & CEO. “Mr. Bullard’s keynote will speak on our desire to shape the future of DeKalb County and encourage our business members to live heroically.”

During the meeting, outgoing board Chair Frederick L. Daniels, Jr., Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President at Citizens Trust Bank, will pass the gavel to incoming board Chair Brenda Reid, Media and Community Relations Manager at Publix Super Markets.

DeKalb Chamber will recognize new board members including:

  • Ebonie Carzo, Owner, Scrumptious Cakery

  • Mario Evans, Airport Director, DeKalb-Peachtree Airport

  • Mary Parker, CEO, All N 1 Security Services

  • Belinda Pedroso, Director of Finance and Accounting, Kennesaw State University

  • Nakia Sanford, Senior Regional Leader, Primerica/Sanford Agency

  • Robert Scott, Principal, Executive Vice President, T. Dallas Smith & Company

  • Jeff Taylor, CEO, Oakhurst Medical Centers Inc.

  • Skip Vaughan, General Manager/Market Senior Director, Pepsi Beverages Company

  • Sandra Xing, Owner, Stone Ridge Event Center

Toni Hannah, Area Manager at Georgia Power; Crystal Stevens, Community Development Officer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; and Sharon Thompson, Business Banking Manager at Wells Fargo, will also serve on the board as a new company appointee.
