Friday, March 30th, 2018

The Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee officially opened its application process for the Super Bowl LIII volunteer program, known as TEAM ATL. The Host Committee is seeking up to 10,000 high-energy individuals to assist in welcoming more than one million guests expected to visit our region during the 10 days of festivities surrounding Super Bowl LIII, to be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Beginning today, fans can visit ATLSuperBowl53.com/volunteer/ to apply and begin the process of becoming part of TEAM ATL.

“We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to help us provide a warm welcome to more than one million visitors during Super Bowl Week,” said Host Committee Chief Operating Officer Brett Daniels. “The positive experience visiting fans will have will be in large part due to the interaction they have with our TEAM ATL volunteers. We look forward to showcasing the diversity, spirit and character of our region through this program.”

Interested participants are required to go through a formal application process including a background check and one-on-one interview to be conducted this summer. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old at the time of submission. The Host Committee will hold orientation and a kickoff event this fall and mandatory role-specific training later this year.

TEAM ATL volunteers must commit to work a minimum of three shifts ranging in length from four to six hours each. In addition to being in on the action, volunteers will receive a custom-designed uniform package including a jacket, polo, hat and scarf. Volunteer uniforms will be revealed later this year.

Volunteers will help the Host Committee and City of Atlanta by serving as city ambassadors at key areas such as airports, hotels and official Host Committee and NFL events. There will be no volunteer opportunities inside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium on gameday.

The Host Committee has selected workforce staffing solutions technology platform Rosterfy as the volunteer program management system.
