In preparation for the opening of the Northwest Corridor Express Lanes later this year, the State Road and Tollway Authority and Peach Pass have partnered with the Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival as the presenting sponsor, enhancing their free event with a Peach Pass Fun Zone. The Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival will be held Saturday, August 25, from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, located at 5239 Floyd Road SW, Mableton, Georgia, 30126.
The Peach Pass Fun Zone will provide free entertainment for kids and kids-at-heart, featuring inflatable games, giant tricycle races, a rock-climbing wall, face painting, music from Star94 and Hot 107.9, and more.
“We are thrilled to have the support of Peach Pass as the presenting sponsor for the Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival,” said Sharon Crump, Executive Director, Inside Out Center, Inc. “Their support for our event means that we can do more to help those in need in our community.”
The Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival is a free event focused not only on providing fun, but also on giving back to the Atlanta community. The event supports the work of the Inside Out Center, Inc. with veterans, homeless, unemployed, and working poor throughout the year.
Additionally, at the event, attendees will be encouraged to help stuff an Xpress coach with supplies for local Title 1 Cobb County Schools. SRTA is leading the charge in the donation drive.
“The Northwest Corridor Express Lanes will impact daily life for citizens of Cobb County and beyond,” Chris Tomlinson, SRTA Executive Director, said. “We are excited to be the presenting sponsor of the Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival to celebrate with and give back to this community.”
