As two organizations focus on improved transportation options, the State Road and Tollway Authority and the AAA Auto Club Group are teaming up to promote Peach Pass and Georgia’s Express Lanes.
SRTA and AAA are launching the Double Play Free AAA Oil Change promotional offer, providing existing and new Personal Toll Peach Pass account holders who sign up for a new AAA Primary Membership with a free oil change at designated AAA Car Care plus locations. “As a catalyst of transit and transportation in Georgia, SRTA is pleased to partner with AAA and its strong history of travel offerings,” Chris Tomlinson, SRTA Executive Director, said of a new agreement signed with AAA. “Through AAA’s existing customer base, SRTA can better promote its programs and services to new audiences, introducing them to the benefits of using Georgia’s Express Lanes.”
The new partnership combines the benefits of using Peach Pass to access Georgia’s Express Lanes with the safety, security and benefits of being a AAA member.
“This exciting new partnership between SRTA and AAA enables us to promote a safe, more convenient travel option to a broadened range of motorist,” said Sasha Marcinczyk, Field Vice President, AAA GA - The Auto Club Group. “It is a blending of resources that should work to the benefit of the driving public.”
All vehicles are required to have a Peach Pass (or a valid interoperable toll pass from Florida or North Carolina) in order to use the Georgia Express Lane System, which include the newly opened Northwest Corridor Express Lanes, the I-85 Express Lanes and the I-75 South Metro Express Lanes as well as the I-85 Extension Express Lanes opening later this year.
