Matt McConnell, the Atlanta entrepreneur and co-founder of Intradiem, will serve as the keynote speaker of the 2019 ATDC Startup Showcase.

Now in its 33^rd year, the ATDC Startup Showcase is Georgia’s largest spring technology event. This year’s Showcase will be held April 18 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center and will feature more than 75 of the state’s most promising and emerging startups from across the state, including Atlanta, Savannah, Athens, Macon, and Augusta. McConnell, a 1994 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, co-founded and is CEO of Intradiem, a leading provider of robotic process automation for contact centers.

The Alpharetta, Georgia-based company delivers more than 1 billion automation actions per year on behalf of its clients to improve contact center productivity and performance.

As one of the original founders of the company in 1995, McConnell’s vision was to reinvent the customer service experience.

The company, a 2000 ATDC Signature graduate, initially focused on solving the challenges training call center agents. Intradiem’s technology platform is built to continually evolve to address issues of workforce management, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.

Nearly two decades later, McConnell leads one of Georgia’s largest software companies with a blue-chip client roster that includes JPMorgan Chase, AT&T, United Healthcare, MetLife, Allstate, and Macy’s.

“People sometimes see us as an overnight success, but it was 20 years of focus and dedication to our singular mission — to transform service with automation — that has been the engine driving that success,” McConnell said. 

The focus on its core mission is reflected in Intradiem’s corporate culture: to have a staff with personal and professional interest in service.
