More than 450 Regional Elected Officials and Business Leaders Joined the Council for Quality Growth’s 15th Annual Meet & Greet

The Council for Quality Growth hosted its 15th Annual Meet  & Greet event for more than 450 elected officials, business leaders and policymakers, making it one of the largest annual gatherings of elected officials in the metro Atlanta region.  Held at Comcast Center’s Rooftop Patio at The Battery Atlanta, the Council for Quality Growth recognized Commission Board Chairs, Mayors, Commissioners, Councilmembers, and state elected and appointed leaders on their contributions to promote positive and sustainable growth in the metro Atlanta region. 

Council for Quality Growth members were able to connect and collaborate with elected officials at Comcast Center’s state-of-the art rooftop patio overlooking SunTrust Park stadium.  Council President & CEO Michael Paris welcomed attendees and thanked sponsors and event host, Comcast VP of External Affairs and past Board Chairman, Andy Macke. Ann Hanlon, 2019 Council Board Chair and Executive Director of the Perimeter CIDs applauded all the elected officials for their service to their communities. Cumberland CID Board Chair, John Shern, welcomed the crowd to the Cumberland CID and touted about the work being done in the district. Hanlon introduced the Lt. Governor who shared the virtues of having worked in private sector and having a broader perspective in government leadership. He noted healthcare and education reform as priorities for the state and shared his goal to earn Georgia the title as the “Technology Capital of the East Coast.”
