Duke Realty Announces Construction of Warehouse Project Near Hartsfield-Jackson

The Atlanta office of Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty), a leading nationwide REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) specializing in the ownership, management and development of bulk industrial facilities, has announced that it will build a new 614,880-square-foot industrial building in Camp Creek Business Center, its industrial and office development located southwest of Atlanta just off I-285 near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The building, which will be located at 4909 North Commerce Drive in East Point, is being built on a speculative basis with a delivery date of January 2016.

We completed the pad for this building earlier this year and are now moving forward with the construction of the building so that we are in a position to offer move-in ready, first-class space to clients with early 2016 needs.”

4909 North Commerce Drive is being built on 33.11 acres just off North Commerce Drive, the main north/south road in the park which was recently extended to provide access to Camp Creek via two I-285 exchanges—Camp Creek Parkway and Washington Road. The cross-dock building will include 36' clear height, 54ʼ x 50ʼ column spacing, and 125 dock doors. The building will be served by two points of ingress/egress, 337 automobile parking spaces and 125 trailer parking spaces. Land immediately adjacent to 4909 North Commerce Drive is available for companies looking for a contiguous site for future truck courts.
