Peachtree Corners-Based Herschend Moving Harlem Globetrotters Offices to Atlanta

Harlem Globetrotters owners, Herschend Enterprises which is based in Peachtree Corners, announced plans to relocate the corporate offices of the world famous team from its current Phoenix, Arizona location to the metro Atlanta area. 

The Peachtree Corners company purchased the team in October 2013. Herschend Enterprises corporate offices are located in Technology Park. According to a release on July 14, the move is expected to be completed by the summer of 2016. The Globetrotters have been in Phoenix since 1995. 

“We’re glad to know Herschend is thriving in Peachtree Corners,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “The city is delighted to have the family entertainment business here.” 

Herschend Enterprises is the largest family-owned themed attractions company in the United States. The company creates, develops and operates entertainment, tourism and hospitality properties spanning 26 locations in eight states. 

The Harlem Globetrotters, famous for their ball handling wizardry and basketball artistry are celebrating their 90th anniversary. The group has entertained millions of fans all over the world including popes, kings, queens and presidents.
