The Associated General Contractors of Georgia (AGC Georgia) elected Scott Clark as the 2014-2016 association secretary last June. This year begins his second term. In this role, he serves on the Board of Directors and is an engaged member of AGC Georgia’s five-member executive committee. Clark is President/COO of R. W. Allen, LLC, a diversified commercial contractor providing general contracting, pre-construction, design-build and construction management services. The firm has been an active member of AGC Georgia since 1980.

During the recent convention, Scott Clark was honored with a Volunteer of the Year Award for his active engagement in helping bridge the gap in the commercial construction industry’s skilled workforce shortage. Through his leadership, R. W. Allen, LLC representatives make it a priority to visit with many high school construction programs in East Georgia. One of Clark’s most significant accomplishments in the past year was the organization of a mock SkillsUSA competition held at the Augusta Fairgrounds in November 2014.

Other officers joining Clark in leading the Chapter’s board of directors include Trey Anderson, Anderson Construction Company of Fort Gaines as president; Randy Hall, Batson-Cook Company in Atlanta as vice president; and Kevin Kuntz, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Atlanta as treasurer.
