World Water Relief will host its sixth annual WATER IS LIFE fundraiser on Saturday, August 22nd at The Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center, located at 225 Chester Avenue SE, in Atlanta’s Reynoldstown neighborhood.

Beginning at 6pm, the evening’s festivities will include heavy hors-d'oeuvres from Chef Ryan Smith of Southbound restaurant in Chamblee. There will also be live entertainment and an auction featuring items including a vacation to Belize, PGA tickets, artwork and handcrafted jewelry from Haiti and the Dominican Republic (World Water Relief’s current focus countries), and much more. Steve McCoy of 106.7FM will serve as Emcee. Tickets are priced at $75 in advance by visiting this link to purchase, or $85 at the door. Complimentary valet parking will be provided.

Proceeds from WATER IS LIFE benefit World Water Relief’s safe water projects, hygiene education and student hygiene clubs at schools in Haiti and the Dominican Republic—continuing the organization’s efforts to support ongoing projects in the developing world. Their mission is to “transform the lives of children by providing safe water and hygiene education.” World Water Relief’s in-country Program Director Steffani Fields, who carries out the organization’s work in Haiti and the Dominican, will be in attendance.
