The Alpharetta Business Association will hold its third Annual Alpharetta Business Expo later this month.
The expo will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at the Alpharetta Marriott on Windward Parkway.
Over 70 exhibitors will participate, and seven local food establishments will offer food for attendees. Reflecting Alpharetta’s status as Technology Capital of the South, ABA will have a special Start-up Technology Showcase featuring some of Alpharetta’s hottest start-ups.
All Technology Showcase participants will pitch publicly to a panel of coaches at 9 a.m. After Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle cuts the ribbon at 10:30 a.m. to open the Expo doors, these same start-ups will be available during the event to demonstrate their technologies and answer questions.
“This year’s Expo will be bigger and better than ever,” said John Ray, ABA board member and owner of BookKeeping Express. “Led by our premium sponsors, we’ve got the deepest line-up of exhibitors we’ve ever had, along with a tantalizing array of local restaurants and food vendors.
Ray added the Start-up Technology Showcase is “unprecedented and unique” to expos in the region, ”giving attendees a peek at Alpharetta’s burgeoning technology scene.”
“We will offer tremendous networking opportunities for our entire business and technology community, completely free of charge to attendees,” he added.
Premium sponsors for this year’s Expo include the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau, LG Electronics, Gwinnett Tech – Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus, LGE Community Credit Union, Regions Bank, CGP Printing, Hennessy Transportation, Evelop Group, Family Life Publications, TC Productions and Dramatic Water Solutions.
