APICS in Atlanta Names Landis+Gyr Company of the Year

Landis+Gyr announced it has been named Company of the Year by the Atlanta Chapter of APICS, an international professional association for supply chain and operations management.

A global leader in energy management solutions, Landis+Gyr was recognized for its continued use of APICS standards and training practices during the past year.

"Landis+Gyr incorporates the APICS body of knowledge into their business culture," said Greg Lutkauskas, President, APICS Atlanta. "The company encourages and supports APICS membership and promotes participation in our chapter's in-house Certified in Production and Inventory Management program."

Supply chain employees at Landis+Gyr are encouraged to become certified in production and inventory management, with several employees currently enrolled in the course. This certification helps teams understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within their global operations.

APICS is a global professional association dedicated to promoting the principles of operations and supply chain management through research and education and through professional certifications: Certified in Production and Inventory Management and Certified Supply Chain Professional recognition for individuals. APICS recently completed a merger with the Supply Chain Council.
