Bojangles’, Inc., the popular restaurant chain known for its uniquely-seasoned and marinated bone-in chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, and breakfast served all day, every day, is investing in the Atlanta market with corporate and franchise restaurants opening in multiple new locations.

Currently, there are more than 45 Bojangles’ restaurants across the Atlanta market. In 2013, Bojangles’ debuted in the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport – a prime location to serve fans of the brand from across the country.

A new Bojangles’ is scheduled to open Sunday, August 30 in McDonough at 1393 Jonesboro Road. Later this year and in early 2016, new Bojangles’ restaurants are slated to open in Griffin, Marietta, Lawrenceville and Doraville.

“The Atlanta, Georgia market is an excellent example of what can and should happen when we build out a market,” said Clifton Rutledge, Bojangles’ President and CEO. “In addition to Bojangles’ investing in corporate restaurants in Atlanta, we have several strong franchisees that are great partners, live locally and want to invest in their own communities.”

Bojangles’ has a system-wide development pipeline of nearly 90 locations for company-operated and franchised restaurants.

“We are addressing development opportunities in a disciplined manner with a focus on building greater scale in markets throughout the Southeast,” added Rutledge. “We are excited about the momentum we are experiencing in Georgia, and we’re looking forward to continued growth in the market.”
