City of Atlanta Welcomes the 2015 Fire-Rescue International Conference

The City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department welcome Fire-Rescue International 2015, the annual conference and expo of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Fire service officials from around the world are visiting Atlanta for the conference, which is dedicated to leadership education, networking, and providing the opportunity for more than 4,500 attendees to learn about the latest products, services and technologies the industry offers.
“I am pleased to welcome the 2015 Fire-Rescue International conference to the City of Atlanta,” said Fire Chief Joel Baker. “Not only will this conference offer firefighters and emergency responders a chance to network and collaborate, but as the host city, it’s an opportunity to highlight the Atlanta Fire Recue Department as internationally accredited and Class 1 ISO rated organization.”
FRI 2015 is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Wednesday, August 26-Saturday, August 29. Chief Baker will deliver keynote remarks during the FRI Diversity Breakfast on Friday, August 28 at 7:00 a.m.
