Construction Resources, Inc. is proud to announce that Nico de Olano has joined Atlanta Kitchen as its newest Cambria Brand Officer. He will be responsible for promoting the Cambria brand to builders and deepening relationships with current customers.
Nico de Olano will also work closely with the sales team to drive traffic to the new Cambria Gallery in Buckhead. To do so, he will help plan and host events at the gallery so that attendees can experience the Cambria difference.
"We welcome Nico to the Construction Resources family and look forward to working with him to grow the Cambria brand," stated Mitch Hires, co-owner of Construction Resources. "He is an all-star when it comes to sales and will be a huge asset to our team."
Growing up in Spain, de Olano went to high school in Santiago, Chile and earned a degree in International Business and Economics from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Before joining Atlanta Kitchen, he worked for four years at McDonald's Corp. in operations. There, he ran multiple business units including $2.6, $3.1 and $4.2 million restaurants. His accomplishments include breaking sales records by taking a restaurant to over $4 million in sales, a first in the Georgia market; and changing an underperforming restaurant with several years of negative sales to one ranked first in growth in the Georgia market with cash flow increasing over 20 percent from the previous year. It now ranks 196th out of 1,790 corporate restaurants.
Before McDonald's, de Olano worked at Automatic Data Processing and served as the district manager for the Marietta market. There, he was a top producer and brought more than 160 companies on board to ADP's suite of services.
He has three children, ranging in age from nine months to four years, and a tri-athlete wife, Mila, who is originally from Brazil. de Olano spends his time off trying to keep up with them and likes to hunt, fish, read, bike, boat and travel.
