Women in Technology (WIT), in partnership with Emory Continuing Education, is excited to present the What It Takes Certificate Series as part of WIT CAREERS leadership development programs. The distinct WIT CAREERS programs offer a series of intensive educational sessions to give you the tools you need to get to the next level! Organizations who sponsor participants build and retain talent to enhance their company to better achieve organizational goals.

The What It Takes to Develop Self certificate program was created to address the needs of the STEM professional in the developmental stage of an early or new career. This certificate program offers the foundation of success by teaching the participant how to communicate effectively and make strategic decisions within their careers. Classes start Friday, October 2nd for 6 Fridays (9:00 AM – 4:00PM) at Emory Continuing Education, 12 Executive Park Drive, Suite 100, ATL, GA 30329. The successful candidate will receive an Emory Continuing Education Certificate in Business Skills (3.6 CEUs).
The What It Takes to Manage Others certificate program was created to address the unique needs of the STEM professional who is a first-time manager or is seeking to make strides in her career through supervision. This certificate program offers the skills necessary to communicate with, influence, and lead effective teams. Classes start Friday, September 18th for 6 Fridays (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) at Emory Continuing Education, 12 Executive Park Drive, Suite 100, ATL, GA 30329. The successful candidate will receive an Emory Continuing Education Certificate in Management Skills (3.6 CEUs).
The What It Takes to Master Leadership certificate program was created to help STEM leaders move from being individual contributors to setting direction for their organization. This certificate program offers advanced leadership skills, with a focus on creating and executing a vision for optimal performance and growth. Classes start Thursday, September 24th for 3 Thursdays and 3 Fridays (9:00AM – 4:00PM) every other week. The successful candidate will receive an Emory Continuing Education Certificate in Leadership Skills (3.6 CEUs).
