The 32nd Annual Fall Atlanta Home Show and Outdoor Living Expo will bring over 300 exhibitors showcasing some of the newest and most innovative home products and services at the Cobb Galleria Centre Sept. 11-13, along with a roster of exciting speakers headlined by architect and designer John Gidding of HGTV fame. New this year will be a Tiny House, called “the next big thing” by exhibitor Tiny Hammock Cottages. The popular Beer Garden will return, with proceeds from the $5 beer tasting ticket supporting Hope Atlanta, the programs of Travelers Aid. The Fall Atlanta Home Show and Outdoor Living Expo is a SEMCO Show. www.AtlantaHomeShow.com
“Here in Atlanta, we are fortunate to enjoy year-round outdoor living,” said Michael Schoppenhorst, president of SEMCO and director of the Atlanta Home Show. “Throughout the Show, but especially in the Outdoor Living Expo area, our exhibitors will present innovative ideas about how to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces and smoothly transition from one to the other. Attendees will be able to learn about the latest products and services for inside and outside the home including kitchens, baths, porches, decks, pools, outdoor kitchens, landscaping, heating and air conditioning, insulation, fireplaces and so much more.”
“We are very excited to welcome John Gidding back to the Reliable Heating and Air Stage,” Schoppenhorst continued. “John is extremely popular with our attendees, and will draw on his extensive background in all aspects of both interior and exterior home design. Since he spends a lot of time in Atlanta, he’s very familiar with our city’s home styles and neighborhoods. I’m sure he will give attendees wonderful ideas, which they can then personalize by speaking with the Show’s exhibitors.”
Live radio broadcasts have been scheduled throughout the Fall Atlanta Home Show and Outdoor Living Expo, kicking off with Steve Craig of 97.1 The River from 3-6 p.m. on Friday in the Beer Garden. Sunday at noon, WSB’s Belinda Skelton will present her show from the Beer Garden.
Marietta's Red Hare Brewing Company is returning to team up with Hope Atlanta, Georgia Landscape and Landscape Plans Plus to offer home show attendees the chance to sample some local brew while strolling through a beautiful backyard. For just a $5 donation to Hope Atlanta, adult attendees in the garden can sample Red Hare Brewing's Long Day Lager and Gangway IPA, both of which were winners of multiple People's Choice Awards in 2011 & 2012. Watership Brown, an Atlanta Home Show favorite, will also be available.
