Edge Solutions Expands Management Team to Fuel Growth

Edge Solutions, a leading Atlanta IT services and solutions provider, announced today that the company has added to its management team to drive increased customer growth and expansion into new service areas. Edge Solutions hired industry veteran Ed Gogol as vice president of sales, and experienced technologist Mauricio Rojas as director of professional services. Edge Solutions provides cost-effective, custom IT solutions to organizations of all sizes, including virtualization, cloud computing, infrastructure, and storage and data management solutions representing leading IT manufacturers.

Gogol is an experienced IT executive who has held a range of leadership roles at prominent IT solution providers throughout his career. He brings over two decades of sales and marketing experience in the technology channel working collaboratively with partners and clients to deliver successful IT solutions. Gogol's strengths include sales management, account management, channel management, sales results, storage and networking technical expertise and local market knowledge.
Prior to joining Edge Solutions, Gogol was a regional sales director at Presidio Networked Solutions and director of enterprise systems at Solarcom (acquired by Presdio in 2006). He has served on various boards, including the Board of Directors for Carta Healthcare and Tactics. Gogol is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, and earned an executive MBA from Georgia State University.

Rojas will bring a unique perspective and skill set to Edge Solutions with a 17-year career as an engineer and technology leader at end-user companies that include Fortune 500 and technology innovation organizations. His strengths include results-driven design and implementation of new technology environments, regulatory compliance, project management, IT budgeting and personnel management.
Rojas was director of platform services and storage at Global Payments prior to joining Edge Solutions, and previously held technology leadership roles at Silverpop and LexisNexis. He holds a bachelor's degree in information technology from Southern Polytechnic University, and is currently earning his MBA at Kennesaw State University.

Gogol and Rojas are both residents of North Fulton County, and will be working out of Edge Solutions' Alpharetta headquarters office location.
