Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO
Thursday, October 15th, 2015
Web performance and end user experience monitoring company, Rigor, announced the acquisition of web optimization platform Zoompf. Both tech startups are based in Atlanta, and the founders of each company met locally in ATDC’s Select Program. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As a result of the acquisition, Rigor will integrate Zoompf’s technology into its SaaS platform, thereby creating the first-ever application performance management platform to offer both diagnostic and prescriptive analytics for the entire DevOps lifecycle.
Now, Rigor customers such as Conde Naste, Refinery 29, StubHub and NCR can turn their performance data into actions by detecting when performance degrades, identifying the root cause of the issues, and providing a detailed step-by-step remediation plan. Many of Rigor’s customers are also Atlanta based – such as The Weather Channel and The Home Depot.
