MagMutual Insurance Company, the Southeast’s largest mutual professional liability insurer, recently established a non-profit organization, with the sole purpose of providing grant money to benefit the profession of medicine and the delivery of healthcare in the Southeastern region.

Throughout the years MagMutual has donated many dollars to medical associations in order to support its policyholders and to benefit the greater healthcare community. With the creation of the MagMutual Foundation, MagMutual is giving its policyholders, and those associated with policyholders, the opportunity to recommend how their money supports the medical profession and the healthcare community.

“MagMutual Insurance Company strives to meet the needs of policyholders. The Foundation will go beyond meeting those needs. Through this we hope to better align our mission with those who have similar missions within the healthcare community and work together in support of the medical profession.” – Joseph Wilson, Jr. MD, FACC, current CEO and Chairman of the Board at MagMutual
