SHRM-Atlanta Announces Jeanne Artime as New CEO

The Atlanta Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management’s board of directors has appointed Jeanne Artime as the organization’s chief executive officer.
Jeanne joins SHRM-Atlanta with more than 15 years of leadership experience in the Atlanta area. As CEO, Jeanne’s top priorities will be to continue building and growing SHRM-Atlanta, and ensuring the highest quality member and resource partner experiences as the company develops leaders in Atlanta.
In its golden anniversary, SHRM-Atlanta brings 50 years of expertise in building Atlanta leaders, one member at a time. The organization’s mission is to develop leaders in the field of human resources, meeting its members where they are and helping them through every step of their career path. SHRM-Atlanta believes it is paramount to this goal that it continues to evolve the organization and associated structure to ensure that the mission becomes a reality for its members today and tomorrow.

Previously, Jeanne was the founding executive director of PowerMyLearning-Atlanta, the local chapter of a national organization dedicated to increasing student academic achievement and STEM literacy in underserved communities. Serving eight years with PowerMyLearning, Jeanne led the effort to define the vision and innovative strategies needed to establish, localize and scale PowerMyLearning’s program within the Atlanta region. She has also held leadership roles with Atlanta’s Children’s Literature for Children and a subsidiary of IBM, Lotus Development.
