Annual Meeting Bringing World Leaders to Atlanta to "Reimagine the Global Economy" in January 2016

With a theme of "reimagining the global economy," Operation HOPE, the leading global financial dignity non-profit, will host their third HOPE Global Forums | Annual Meeting from Atlanta, Georgia January 13-15, 2016. This year's event is expected to draw over 1,500 participants including some of the biggest names in finance, philanthropy, entertainment, business, civic leadership and many more. 

This three-day Annual Meeting promises to transform and elevate underserved communities across the world. Participants and attendees will engage in an authentic dialogue with like-minded leaders who believe in the power of ideas to change the world. The Forum is an unmatched opportunity to connect with global leaders from across disciplines and network with industry peers. 

The theme for this year's event is "reimagining the global economy" with a message focused on inclusive economics that engage and empower the entire global community. 

"In a short period of time, our Annual Meeting has become THE place to be for those committed to the cause of expanding opportunities for underserved communities," said John Hope Bryant, Operation HOPE founder, chairman and CEO. Among the dignitaries expected to join Bryant at this year's Annual Meeting include:

  • E.J. Dionne, Washington Post Columnist and Senior Fellow, Brookings Institution

  • Andrea Jung, CEO, Grameen America

  • Dikembe Mutombo, chairman and founder, Dikembe Mutombo Foundation Inc. and NBA Hall of Famer

  • Alice Rivlin, Brookings Senior Fellow, founder, Congressional Budget Office

  • Robert Rubin, former U.S. Treasury Secretary

  • The Honorable Andrew Young, civil rights icon and former U.N. ambassador 

"There is already an impressive roster of guests, speakers and dignitaries – leaders across every sector of our global economy and ecosystems - who will attend for this year's event. Operation HOPE will be announcing additional speakers and special guests over the next several weeks, ahead of the Annual Meeting. In recent years, this event has attracted a number of world-renowned leaders who believe in Operation HOPE's cause and mission including President Bill Clinton, entertainment mogul Russell Simmons, former Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke and many others.
