Atlanta Fed Names Quiros Vice President

Doris Quiros has been named vice president in the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's supervision and regulation division, announced Dennis Lockhart, president and chief executive officer of the Atlanta Fed. Quiros retains responsibility for the credit and risk management function, and assumes responsibility for the applications and enforcement function and the quality assurance function.
Quiros began her career as an analyst in the statistics department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and joined the Atlanta Fed in 1996 as a team leader in financial statistics and structure analysis. She later joined financial management and planning, where she held various roles of increasing responsibility and was appointed assistant vice president of FSSA in 2004. Before joining the CRM department in 2013, Quiros worked in audit as assistant vice president and assistant general auditor.
Under her leadership, CRM recently implemented positive organizational changes while developing staff and talent for the future. Quiros is also a strong leader within the Federal Reserve System and participates in various System groups focusing on issues that involve credit and reserves. Additionally, she played a critical role in the development of a talent and leadership development framework for the S&R division.
Quiros earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in banking and finance from Hofstra University. She is a Certified Internal Auditor and has completed executive development programs at Columbia University, University of California—Los Angeles, and the University of Western Ontario.
