Atlanta Communities Names Serena Henry the Intown Managing Broker

Atlanta Communities Real Estate Brokerage names Serena E. Henry managing broker of its Intown office at 1801 Peachtree Street in Atlanta.

The youngest firm to make the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top 10 Residential Organizations in 2015, Atlanta Communities has five locations in Atlanta and the northern metropolitan area. It has increased its agent roster by 10 percent this year and currently has 675 metro Atlanta real estate professionals. Henry will assist in growing the company with experienced and budding full-time agents.

A big believer in giving back to the real estate community, Henry has taught pre- and post-license real estate courses with Barney Fletcher Schools, The Georgia Institute of Real Estate and previous brokerage firms. She is a member of the Georgia Real Estate Educators’ Association, where she received the Rising Star of the Year Award in 2013, and currently serves as a director. Henry is a graduate of the Georgia Association of Realtors and the Atlanta Board of Realtors Leadership Academies. She currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee for GAR and as a director of ABR, where she received the Captain of Industry Award in 2015.

Serena Henry is one of only four Georgians to graduate from the National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy. She also founded the Women’s Council of Realtors® Atlanta’s Leadership Academy during her term as the organization’s 52nd president.

Henry has a BA in Spanish with a minor in business management from Georgia State University and attended the University of California, Los Angeles and the Universidad de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.
