Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport officials announced the grand opening of the State’s newest Visitor Information Center at ATL will take place Tuesday, January 26.  The VIC represents a partnership between the City of Atlanta, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Georgia Department of Economic Development Tourism’s division. The organizations partnered on this project to provide travelers coming to or through the world’s busiest airport travel information about the region. The new Airport Visitor Information Center is designed to provide travelers with a wide range of travel assistance including friendly trip-planning assistance from knowledgeable staff, travel brochures, state travel guides, travel tips and much more. The VIC is located at the top of the arrival escalators, allowing travelers to access the information before or after visiting baggage claim.
