Today, Operation HOPE, global financial dignity nonprofit, announced that U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Jacob J. Lew will provide a keynote address on Thursday, January 14 at 4:30 PM EST at the HOPE Global Forums | Annual Meeting, January 13 - 15th in Atlanta, GA.

Set against the backdrop of the Martin Luther King Holiday Weekend, Secretary Lew's remarks will tie back to the annual event's theme of "reimaging the global economy," with a message focused on greater financial inclusion both here at home and across the globe.

Secretary Lew joins an impressive roster of participants, including former Treasury Secretary Robert E. Rubin, renowned economist Alice Rivlin, Washington Post's E.J. Dionne, NBA Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo, Fortune 500 CEO's, influential thought leaders and more. Earlier this month, Operation HOPE announced that Clinton Foundation Vice-Chair Chelsea Clinton would also be addressing this year's Forums.

"Secretary Lew has been a tremendous leader for the cause of inclusive economics and financial dignity long before his impressive tenure as our nation's Treasury Secretary," said John Hope Bryant, Operation HOPE founder, chairman and CEO. "I am honored and deeply appreciative that the Secretary has chosen our HOPE Global Forums | Annual Meeting as the setting for this significant policy address to our delegates. We know the entire financial world will be watching."

This year's event is expected to draw over 1,500 participants including some of the most influential names in finance, philanthropy, entertainment, business, and civic leadership. This three-day Forum promises to transform and elevate underserved communities across the world. Participants and attendees will engage in an authentic dialogue with like-minded leaders who believe in the power of ideas to change the world. The HOPE Global Forums is an unmatched opportunity to connect with global leaders from across disciplines and to network with industry peers.
