SkyMedicus has successfully received funding of $1,000,000 through Elite Crowdfund’s online crowdfunding platform. This marks the first successful crowdfunding campaign for Elite Crowdfund, which launched in September of 2015. “This investment will allow Amy and her team to continue to build a first class proprietary forum to connect patients, physicians and healthcare service providers,” said Derek Cunningham, Chairman of the Board of Elite Crowdfund.

Each investor was an accredited investor, per the guidelines of the offering and the minimum investment was $25,000. There were also direct investments by four of the Elite Crowdfund board members.. This investment will allow SkyMedicus to expand their business globally, extend its unique proprietary platform for connecting patients and doctors across the world in order to perform procedures at drastically reduced costs and to focus on expanding its marketing and brand management campaigns. SkyMedicus is poised to solidify its position as the market leader in an industry that is forecasted by Deloitte & Touché to reach $370 billion by 2017.
