Event Photography Group Announces New Corporate Name: Iconic Group, Inc.

Event Photography Group, the leader in the education, endurance sport and retail experiential photography segments, today unveiled a new corporate name and logo. The new name, Iconic Group, Inc., positions the company as a digital solutions brand, leveraging its access to consumers through the 10,000 life-defining events it photographs each year. The company has also opened a new office in Atlanta, GA.

Iconic Group's portfolio includes five leading brands: GradImages, University Photo, WorldWide Photography, MarathonFoto and Backprint. The company's clients include prominent colleges, universities, sororities, fraternities, high schools, endurance races and mall developers, and it utilizes an unrivaled national network of 2,000 professional photographers.

Building off its industry leadership, the rebranded digital solutions company will harness its deep connections with millions of consumers to develop improved experiences and products. The innovative vision and approach for Iconic Group is being driven by a new, well-positioned leadership team led by recently appointed President and CEO, Denise Conroy, who will be based in the Atlanta office.

Conroy, formerly Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative at HGTV and DIY Network, has more than 20 years of experience developing and leading high performance teams. At HGTV and DIY Network, her data-driven marketing approach helped make HGTV a top ten cable television network. In addition to launching successful shows like Property Brothers and Love It or List It, she is also credited with re-energizing and extending the HGTV brand through an aggressive experiential marketing initiative. This initiative took the network to consumer venues including Comic-Con, Mall of America, CMA Music Festival and South by Southwest. Additionally, Conroy inked revenue-generating partnerships with companies that included DirecTV, Walt Disney Studios, DISH and Summit Entertainment.

In October 2015, Conroy established a new management team of seasoned executives who have collectively been with the organization for almost 75 years and have played pivotal roles in the company's success to date. The management team includes Bruce Franke, Chief Revenue Officer; Anne Munson, Chief Operating Officer – External Operations; and Michelle Jagers, Chief Administrative Officer – Internal Operations.

Also in October 2015, Iconic Group tapped Lisa Rossetti as Vice President of Partnership Marketing. Most recently, the former Turner Broadcasting executive headed up strategy and partnerships for Hothouse, Inc., an Atlanta marketing agency that specializes in activation marketing for blue-chip entertainment clients including NBCUniversal, ESPN, Showtime and HBO.
