NCR Small Business was presented the Excellence in Technology Innovation award for the engineering of its tablet point-of-sale system, NCR Silver.

The company was recognized by Frost & Sullivan for its ability to supply advanced, cloud-based software in a format that requires very little time to install and start using, as well as its potential to transform the payments industry.

“The agile process our engineering team practices differentiates us from other solution providers in the space,” said Rupen Patel, CTO, NCR Small Business. “We are constantly on the lookout for ways we can adjust our products to meet the changing needs of our customers and make small businesses run better.”

Frost & Sullivan, one of the largest global business analyst firms, annually recognizes trend setters across a variety of industries with the Excellence in Technology Innovation Award. Award winners are chosen by a team of industry analysts who measure the performance of market participants through interviews and industry research.

NCR Small Business accepted the award at the 2016 North American Excellence in Best Practices Awards Gala on Jan. 13 in San Diego.
