Thursday, February 18th, 2016
This Friday, Google, along with U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and Cobb County Commission Chairman Tim Lee will bring the Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map program to Metro Atlanta. The event will begin at 9am at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre with a session for business owners.
Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map is designed to help local businesses establish an online presence — improving SEO, using online e-commerce tools, listing businesses on Google Maps and building a free website — where the majority of people are going to find goods and services.
Google is partnering with StartLogic to provide its popular website offerings for free, including an easy-to-build website template, a customized domain name and web-hosting for one year.
Participating Metro Atlanta businesses can go to GYBO.com to get a free website as well as free tools, training and resources to help their business succeed online.
